Early Childhood Teacher / Working Towards ECT – Preschool Educator

TLC Early Learning Centre is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher, or educator currently working towards an ACECQA-approved ECT qualification, to join our preschool team.

You will become one of our Preschool Educators, working with children aged 3–6 years and helping to create a warm, engaging and inspiring learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, question, create and learn through play.

Our approach is Reggio Emilia-inspired and influenced by The Curiosity Approach, with a strong focus on child-led learning, beautiful and meaningful environments, intentional teaching, relationships, and following children’s interests.

The position can be flexible to suit the right person, with the option of working 9:00am–3:00pm or a full-time 38-hour week.

In this role you will:

- Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF V2.0
- Work collaboratively with our preschool team
- Support children’s learning, development, wellbeing and transition to school
- Complete observations, learning documentation and program planning
- Use intentional teaching and children’s interests to extend learning
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
- Contribute to our reflective practice, QIP and continuous improvement




- Support inclusive practices and create environments where every child can participate and belong

About you:

- Hold an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification OR be currently working towards one
- Current NSW Working With Children Check
- Knowledge of the EYLF V2.0 and National Quality Standard
- Passionate about working with preschool-aged children
- Confident working collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliable, enthusiastic and willing to contribute ideas
- Value child-led learning, creativity, relationships and reflective practice
