3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician – Balcatta, WA

We are seeking a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team in Balcatta, WA. This role will provide exposure to a variety of electrical, communications and critical power projects, allowing you to develop your skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive and qualified environment.

About the Role

As a customer-facing representative of ARA Technology, you will be expected to maintain a professional image that reflects the ARA Group's commitment to customer service, quality workmanship and client satisfaction. Under supervision, you will:

- Assist with the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical and communications systems.
- Support the servicing and installation of critical power infrastructure, UPS systems, data cabling and associated electrical equipment.
- Assist in fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs.
- Use tools, equipment and testing devices safely and correctly as instructed.
- Comply with all ARA Safe Operating Procedures, WHS requirements and site regulations.
- Complete work assignments to statutory, quality and customer standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation as required.

Experience

- Previous experience in an electrical, communications or data environment is desirable.
- Exposure to commercial, retail, industrial or service-based projects will be highly regarded.




- Commitment to meeting all TAFE, apprenticeship and licensing requirements.
- Strong focus on customer service and quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Working Hours

This position may involve:
- Standard trade working hours.
- Overtime as required.
- Occasional night works and after-hours projects depending on customer and project requirements.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the Perth metropolitan area and occasionally regional Western Australia.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must have:
- Current enrolment as a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice in Australia.
- Current WA Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and professional presentation.
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
