We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Electrical Supervisor to join our Construction team on a 2 Weeks On, 1 Week Off roster.
In this key site leadership role, you will oversee and coordinate electrical construction activities, lead site-based teams and subcontractors, and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of major electrical and infrastructure projects.

About The Role As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee, coordinate and contribute to daily site activities to ensure a high level of productivity and project performance.
You will provide leadership to site-based teams, coordinate labour and subcontractors, manage planning and procurement activities, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements. This role requires strong electrical trade knowledge, leadership capability and a thorough understanding of safety, quality and compliance requirements within a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate site-based labour, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with project objectives.
- Develop 6-week look-ahead plans and resource forecasts, ensuring materials, plant and equipment are available when needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including planning tools, site diaries, weekly reports, work breakdown reports, quality documentation and incident reports.
- Monitor progress, resource allocation and site activities to support successful project delivery.
- Evaluate hazards, control risks and undertake regular inspections of systems and equipment.
- Ensure site records are maintained accurately and kept up to date.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Quality Assurance programs in line with company policies and procedures.
- Manage daily site priorities and respond proactively to changing project requirements.
- Lead and participate in Daily Pre-Starts, Toolbox Talks and other key site meetings.
- Promote a positive site culture built on excellence, innovation, honesty and teamwork.
- Be prepared to step in as the person responsible for the site under Schedule 26 in the event the Site Manager is absent.
Desired Skills And Experience
About You You are a motivated and safety-focused electrical professional with a strong background in construction and site supervision. You enjoy leading teams, coordinating multiple work fronts and delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum A Grade Electrical Trade qualification.
- Registered as, or willing to register as, an Electrical Contractors Nominee within three months of commencing the role.
- Completed the Units of Competency required for Statutory Supervisors under Schedule 26 of the WHS Mines Regulations, including the Legislation Exam, or willing to complete all requirements within six months of commencing the role.
- Demonstrated experience supervising electrical construction works on large-scale industrial, mining, infrastructure, utilities, power generation or renewable energy projects.
- Proven ability to coordinate labour resources, procurement activities and site logistics.
- Experience ensuring the timely delivery of materials, plant and equipment to support project schedules.
- Proven experience managing a significant component of a worksite, including supervising and directing subcontractors and suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive productivity on site.
- Experience implementing Health, Safety and Quality Assurance programs in accordance with legislation and company policies.
- HV Switching experience and authorisation is highly regarded but not essential
