About the role

Coolabah Cooling & Electrical, based in Tweed Heads, is seeking a qualified electrician for a varied role servicing residential and commercial customers across Northern NSW and South East Queensland. The role combines general electrical work, electrical work associated with air conditioning systems, and hands-on air conditioning installations.

Key responsibilities

- General electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding.
- Installing electrical supplies, connections and associated wiring for air conditioning systems.
- Assisting with and carrying out residential and commercial split system and ducted air conditioning installations, according to qualifications and experience.
- Working alongside our electrical, service and installation teams.
- Air conditioning diagnostics and breakdown work where suitably qualified and experienced.
- Completing clear job notes and maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

About you





- Qualified electrician with a current electrical licence.
- Current driver's licence.
- Sound electrical knowledge and practical fault-finding skills.
- Reliable, skilled and able to work independently or within a team.
- Respect for customers' properties and pride in completing work properly.
- Willingness to learn and develop air conditioning skills.
- Air conditioning installation experience (highly regarded).
- Air conditioning servicing and breakdown experience (highly regarded).
- Current refrigerant handling licence (highly regarded).
- Electrical licences covering both NSW and Queensland (highly regarded).
