Your new role: As an Environmental Health Officer, you'll help protect and promote public health across the Metro South region through environmental health regulation, investigation and evidence-based practice. Working within a multidisciplinary Public Health Unit, you'll engage with industry, the community and health professionals while contributing to public health initiatives, education and service improvement.

- Deliver environmental health services, investigations and regulatory activities.
- Apply Queensland public health legislation, policies and evidence-based practice.
- Work with industry, community members and multidisciplinary public health teams.
- Contribute to education, quality improvement, research and public health initiatives.

About You You're a capable and collaborative Environmental Health professional who can apply legislation and technical knowledge while building effective relationships with stakeholders, communities and colleagues.

- Relevant tertiary qualification accredited by Environmental Health Australia.
- Strong communication, investigation and environmental health regulatory skills.
- Ability to manage workloads, prioritise effectively and work within legislation.
- Commitment to professional development, teamwork and continuous improvement.
