About the role:

We’re looking for a hands-on and adaptable Event & Photography Coordinator to support the successful delivery of graduation events across Queensland. With a strong focus on photography services, you’ll coordinate event preparation and on-site delivery, oversee photography teams and equipment, and help ensure every event runs smoothly and meets GFP’s quality standards. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys leading others, solving problems and getting involved across all aspects of event coordination.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate graduation event preparation and delivery, with a focus on photography services

- Lead on-site photography teams through setup, operations and pack-down, providing clear direction and support

- Deliver photography services across studio, stage, VIP, group, roving, on-campus and photobooth settings

- Prepare, test and maintain photography equipment, consumables, freight and inventory

- Train and support casual photographers through onboarding, briefings and refresher training

- Monitor quality,



troubleshoot technical issues and oversee secure data backups, uploads and transfers

- Collaborate with the State Event Manager, event teams, venues and university representatives to deliver a professional experience

- Support wider event coordination activities to help deliver safe, efficient and memorable events

About You: We are looking for someone who has:

- At least two years’ experience in event, studio or another relevant photography environment

- Hands-on photography experience and confidence with cameras, lighting, composition and capture workflows

- Event experience is highly desirable

- Experience leading/ overseeing teams, delegating tasks, providing direction and developing capability

- Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail

- Practical problem-solving skills, technical aptitude and confidence learning new systems
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support all aspects of event coordination

- Ability to meet the role’s physical requirements, including delivering events and assisting with logistics, equipment movement, setup and pack-down
