Are you a booktrade skilled with significant events experience?

The Australian Booksellers Association is seeking an experienced Events & Training Executive to lead the planning and delivery of our events and professional development programs.

This is a rare opportunity to work at the heart of Australia's book industry, delivering experiences that bring together booksellers, publishers and industry partners from across the country.

Working closely with the CEO and ABA team, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of the ABA's annual conference, trade exhibition and gala awards dinner, as well as roadshows, webinars, professional development programs and other member engagement activities. You will ensure events are professionally delivered, financially sustainable, and provide valuable opportunities for learning,



networking and industry connection.

We're looking for someone with significant event management experience, particularly in conferences and exhibitions, strong project management and organisational skills, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and a genuine interest in books, publishing and bookselling.

Experience working in a membership organisation, association, not-for-profit or service-based organisation will be highly regarded.
