The opportunity The Events Coordinator will report to and support the National Events Manager, assisting with end‑to‑end event management, stakeholder coordination, and on‑site delivery. The role works closely with the marketing team, and senior stakeholders to deliver high‑quality events that range from bespoke, targeted experiences through to large scale events. You'll be busy:
- planning, coordinating, and delivering events from concept through to on‑site execution and post‑event reporting and analysis;
- managing event timelines, checklists, briefs, invitations, run sheets, and workflows to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met;
- preparing event budgets, and securing vendors from procurement through to contract;
- liaising with venues and suppliers, including negotiating rates and managing event logistics;
- leading on-the-day delivery to ensure a seamless guest experience;
- managing event communications and enquiries, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on expectations and deliverables.
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have
- a minimum of three years’ experience working in B2B events;
- previous experience in an events role within professional services, will be viewed favourably;
- exceptional attention to detail and be proactive;
- strong organisational and time‑management skills;
- the ability to build trust and strong working relationships;
- well‑developed critical thinking;
- proven experience managing multiple timelines and stakeholders;
- experience managing event budgets;
- experience delivering a high volume of events;
- proficiency in Microsoft programs;
- confidence using a variety of technology platforms, including event management and collaboration tools; and
- a commitment to providing exceptional event experiences, with flexibility to work outside core business hours when required.
