An exciting opportunity has become available for a trade qualified metal fabricator / welder where you will be reporting directly to the company director, or otherwise the office management team.

About us:

Ciltech is a growing business supplying a range of marine related products. Our primary product specialty is our own in-house locally developed and manufactured pontoon system in Western Australia. This system is used in both residential and commercial applications.

Our secondary product specialty is the supply & installation of various high-quality products such as steel pipe (or steel piles), HDPE pipe sleeves, FRP grating, navigational aids and other products & services domestically and internationally. We do however pride ourselves on our own locally developed & manufactured products.

Tasks & responsibilities:

- Fabrication & welding of pontoon structures/frames - aluminium welding, MIG & TIG.
- Fabrication & welding of steel pipe (typically diameters between 273mm and 508mm) - steel welding, MIG & Stick.
- You will be required to be flexible which may require a combination of onsite welding of steel CHS/Piles, and welding of aluminium/steel materials within the workshop.
- Or other workshop/onsite duties as directed by director, or management team for a project/job.





Requirements for the role:

- Australian recognized trade certificate, such as a certificate 3 in engineering. You must be trade qualified, coded welders will not qualify for this role.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in welding & fabrication.
- Capable welder with experience in welding both aluminium and steel materials - NOTE: you will be tested as part of the interview (ensure you bring your welding helmet and suitable PPE).
- Valid Australian driver’s license.
- Valid forklift ticket
- (Preference, but not essential)validtelehandler ticket
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to read and analyse fabrication drawings and WPS.
- Efficient and good work ethics
