Red Arrow Australia are currently recruiting multiple Fabricator positions for the Mobile Maintenance teams of our Tier 1 client in the Pilbara on casual basis.

The HME Fabricator is responsible for high-quality fabrication and boilermaker repairs on autonomous and mobile mining fleets and equipment. The role requires you to troubleshoot issues, complete component replacements, and ensure the electrical reliability of in office fleets. The role requires the Fabricator to have high level of safety awareness and orientation

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform maintenance and repairs on large-scale mining equipment
- Undertake general fabrication duties and repairs
- Collaborate with the maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance
- Ensure all maintenance works are completed to a high standard

Experience/Skills Required:

- Proven track record of performing maintenance and repairs on large-scale mobile equipment
- Proficiency in using welding and cutting tools and performing general fabrication duties
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Experience in collaborating with maintenance teams to achieve schedule compliance
- In-depth knowledge of safety standards and procedures, including risk assessments and hazard identification
- Comprehensive understanding of metal properties and how they affect fabrication processes
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot fabrication issues effectively.




- Able to perform all welding techniques in (GMAW/MIG), (GTAW/TIG), (FCAW)
- Experience in managing fabrication projects from planning to execution

Qualifications:

- Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Fabrication
- Experience using Microsoft programs and computer-based maintenance systems (SAP desirable)
- Current C Class Drivers Licence

If you are successful for this position you will need to provide a current national police clearance and pass a full medical. Must have full rights to work in Australia.
