We're working with an extremely highly regarded Melbourne law firm seeking a Family Lawyer or Associate with 2-6 years' PAE to join its established and growing Family Law practice based in their Blackburn office.
This is an excellent chance for a lawyer who enjoys the variety of private Family Law and wants greater exposure, responsibility and career development within a supportive team.
The Opportunity
Working closely with highly experienced senior Family Lawyers, you'll manage and assist across a broad mix of private client matters ranging from more straightforward files through to complex financial and high-net-worth family law disputes.
Your practice will include
- Parenting and children's matters
- Divorce and separation
- Property settlements and financial disputes
- Binding Financial Agreements
- Spousal maintenance
- Intervention orders and family violence matters
- Broader Family Law advisory and dispute work
About You You will bring Australian Family Law experience of between 2-6 years PAE and be someone who is looking for an opportunity to continue developing technically while taking on greater responsibility on your files. You'll bring strong client management and communication skills, and the ability to approach sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy.
