Field Service Diesel Mechanic | $40–$50/hr + Overtime | Service Truck
Diesel Mech Vic is an established mobile diesel mechanic business based in the Yarra Valley, servicing quarry and civil equipment across Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
We are looking for a qualified mechanic to join our team.

This role would suit:
- Experienced earthmoving or field service diesel mechanics
- Qualified diesel mechanics looking to move into field service
- Truck mechanics wanting to move into earthmoving equipment
- Qualified petrol mechanics wanting to transition into heavy diesel
Don’t have earthmoving experience? Training and support can be provided for the right person.
The role
Working across quarry and civil sites on a range of equipment including:
Duties include servicing, breakdowns, diagnostics, overhauls and repairs.
What we're looking for
- Trade qualified mechanic (diesel or petrol)
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- HR licence preferred but not essential
- Ability to meet site safety requirements
