Technobake is an Australian-owned business based in newly renovated offices in Brendale, Brisbane. We design, manufacture, install and service commercial ovens used by major retailers, including Woolworths and Coles.

We do more than build and supply ovens. We draw on decades of R&D;, engineering, supply chain and technology knowledge to improve how our machines perform and how our business operates.

About the role

You’ll work with a supportive, experienced team to keep our customers’ ovens running reliably. Planning and preparation are a big part of how we operate, with jobs organised in advance and a fully equipped company van to support your work in the field.

Your responsibilities will include

- Completing preventative maintenance, installations and repairs.

- Diagnosing faults and resolving mechanical and equipment issues.

- Typically attending two to three jobs per day, depending on travel and the work required.

- Helping store staff understand how to clean and care for their ovens.

- Recording service details,



photos and job updates using an iPad.

- Keeping customers and our service team informed of progress and any follow-up work.

- Working safely and maintaining a well-organised van, tools and spare parts.

The role involves travel throughout Queensland, including regional trips and overnight stays when required.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need previous oven experience, but you do need a practical mechanical background, a methodical approach and a willingness to learn.

We’re looking for

- At least one to two years of hands-on mechanical experience.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with diagnostic and fault-finding experience highly regarded.

- A friendly, professional approach when working with customers and store staff.

- The ability to work independently while staying connected with the team.

- Basic IT skills and confidence using an iPad.

- A current Australian driver’s licence and Australian work rights.

- Availability to travel when required.

Automotive technicians are encouraged to apply. Electrical qualifications are highly regarded but are not essential.
