The Opportunity
We're seeking experienced Underground Diesel Fitters to join our team, with FIFO opportunities available for candidates based in Brisbane.
You'll play an important role in maintaining the performance and reliability of underground mining equipment, carrying out diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance in demanding mining environments.

What You'll Do
- Conduct diagnostics and inspections to keep diesel engines and related systems in top condition.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on fuel, cooling, exhaust and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues across a variety of underground equipment.
- Carry out routine and preventative maintenance.
- Complete accurate records of all work performed.
- Prioritise safety and maintain an organised and efficient workspace.
What We're Looking For
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Duty Mechanic.
- Previous experience working on underground mine sites.
- Relevant experience maintaining and repairing underground mining equipment.
- Solid diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable work.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and strong sense of teamwork.
- Willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical upon hire.
