About the Role
Top Cut Foods Pty Ltd are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Finance Administration Officer to join our team in a key stand-alone role with a strong focus on payroll administration and transactional finance.
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of payroll, superannuation, employee-related payments and a range of broader finance administration functions, including fleet, insurance, assets, credit cards and employee mobile services.
As an important part of our finance function, you will play a key role in maintaining strong financial governance, compliance and administration processes. You will also have the opportunity to review and improve existing systems and processes, identifying efficiencies and helping the role and finance function evolve over time.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Employee Payments
Prepare and process payroll, including accurate payroll data entry and administration.
Maintain relevant finance-related information and registers within ELMO employee management system.
Prepare and process payroll journals.
Coordinate employee-related payments, including child support, superannuation and workers compensation premiums.
Ensure payroll and related financial processes are completed accurately, confidentially and within required timeframes.
Finance Administration
Manage credit card reconciliations, acquittals and payments.
Maintain accurate finance records, registers and supporting documentation.
Assist with transactional finance administration and other finance-related activities as required.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and efficiencies across the finance function.
Assets, Fleet & Employee Services
Maintain the employee asset register, including the management of fuel cards.
Coordinate and document fleet management activities for company cars and leased vehicles.
Manage Telstra billing and employee mobile phone administration.
Assist with the administration of insurance-related matters and other finance obligations.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Support the organisation in maintaining strong financial governance and compliance practices.
Ensure finance administration processes are appropriately documented and maintained.
Review existing processes and systems and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
Undertake other duties and projects as identified and assigned from time to time.

Skills and Experiences:
About You
You will be a proactive and organised finance administration qualified who takes pride in getting the detail right. You will be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and handling confidential employee and financial information.
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience in payroll administration and broader finance administration.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Confidence working with financial systems, spreadsheets and employee management systems.
The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A practical, problem-solving approach and willingness to improve existing processes.
The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the organisation.
An understanding of payroll, superannuation and related compliance requirements.
