Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking to step away from traditional public practice and move into a commercially focused role?

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing property investment group based on the Gold Coast.

Working closely with the leadership team, you'll take ownership across financial reporting, management accounting and commercial analysis while gaining exposure to a diverse property portfolio and broader investment activities.

For someone coming from public practice, this could be an excellent first move into commercial accounting, with the opportunity to apply your technical skills while developing your commercial and operational experience.

What you'll be doing

- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Oversee accounting across multiple entities and investment structures.
- Assist with year-end reporting, tax requirements and external accountants/auditors.
- Monitor performance across the group's property and investment portfolio.
- Support senior leadership with commercial analysis and strategic projects.
- Review and improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
- Assist with financing, acquisitions and other investment activities as required.

About you

- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- CA or CPA qualified, or working towards qualification.
- Experience within public practice,



commercial accounting or a similar finance environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working across multiple entities and managing competing priorities.
- Confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with an interest in property and investment.
- Proactive, capable and keen to take ownership of your role.

Coming from public practice? We'd particularly love to hear from experienced Senior Accountants or Business Services Accountants who are ready to make their first move into industry.
