A fantastic opportunity has become available at Northern Trade Solutions NT Pty Ltd as a Full-time Finance Officer . This position will be located in Berrimah NT.

Northern Trade Solutions (NTS) is an Australian owned and operated business and has been providing the Northern Territory building industry with a comprehensive range of building and fit out services since 2010.

The Finance Officer will be responsible for below tasks, but not limited to :

- Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
- Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to external accounting firm
- Review collections and follow up on past due invoices
- Audit invoices for contract compliance and accuracy, respond to and resolve customer inquiries, complaints and work order preparation in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
- Assisting with budges
- Entering financial information and data into MYOB Advanced
- Month End Financial Processes for AP & AR
- General Ledger Reconciliations
- Managing day-to-day transactions
- Reporting on debtors and creditors
- Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts




- Reviewing computer reports for accuracy and meticulously tracing errors back to their source
- Resolving errors in financial reports and correcting faulty reporting methods
- Completing the year-end analysis
- Coordinating internal and external audits
- Liaise with internal departments and other agencies, organizations & groups
- Review and implement financial policies

The successful candidate should have:
- Associate’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Related Field or Equivalent Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the same or a similar role
- Proficiency computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with MYOB Advanced
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong Oral and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
- Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
- Accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given, and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.

Job Type: Full time Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
