The business

Our client is a NYSE business with a global footprint and rapidly growing presence in the region. Now seeking a Regional Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting and accounting as well as supporting effective financial planning across its growing APAC operations.

This is an opportunity to combine technical accounting, regional reporting and team leadership within a global business. You will work closely with finance leaders across multiple markets and overseas corporate stakeholders, helping strengthen reporting processes and controls as the region expands.

The role

Reporting to the regional finance leadership team, you will oversee market reporting submissions and group consolidation, ensuring accurate, timely reporting to the global head office. You will lead and develop a team, provide guidance to local finance heads, and support acquisition accounting and opening balance sheet reviews.

Alongside the core accounting remit, you will contribute to budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, translating financial results into clear commentary for senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include

- Overseeing monthly reporting and consolidation across APAC markets
- Reviewing financial submissions, accounting treatments and performance variances
- Strengthening internal controls and supporting SOX reporting
- Leading, developing and reviewing the work of the regional reporting team
- Building effective relationships with local finance leaders and global stakeholders
- Supporting forecasts, annual budgets and quarterly business reviews




- Providing technical accounting guidance and supporting acquisitions
- Improving reporting processes, data quality and systems

About you

You are a CA or CPA qualified finance leader with strong financial reporting and consolidation experience gained within a multinational business. You have worked across international markets and can combine technical rigour with practical advice and clear communication.

We are looking for

- Robust technical accounting and multi-entity consolidation experience
- Global or regional experience, including engagement with overseas head office teams
- Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to contribute to forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
- Strong Excel and data management capability
- A practical approach to improving processes in a growing business
- SOX and US GAAP experience are highly desirable.
