About Us:

Aztech Fire Pty Ltd t/as Queensland Fire and Safety is a family-owned and operated fire protection company based in Loganholme, Queensland.

Due to continued company growth and an expanding customer base, we are looking for a QBCC licensed Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team.

We specialise in the installation, inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems and essential safety services, including fire alarm systems and emergency lighting. We service commercial, industrial, and residential clients throughout the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast regions.

About the Role:

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of fire alarm systems and associated fire protection equipment across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
- Install, inspect, test, service and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with relevant standards and requirements.
- Complete service reports, testing documentation and other required compliance records accurately and within required timeframes.
- Liaise professionally with clients, providing updates on maintenance activities and addressing any concerns.




- Identify potential issues and recommend appropriate repairs or improvements to fire protection systems.
- Assist with the development and improvement of maintenance programs, procedures, and processes.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant safety legislation and company procedures.

Essential Requirements

- QBCC Licence – Fire Protection, Electrical Stream – Install & Maintain – Fire Alarm System.
- Current C-Class Manual Driver Licence.
- Previous experience working with fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety and compliance requirements.

Preferred:

- Emergency Lighting Licence/relevant qualification or experience.
- Experience with fire extinguisher testing
- Ability to Diagnose and rectify faults, including replacing parts where required.
