About the Opportunity
RACV is seeking a Motivated Fitness Centre Supervisor to support the smooth operation of our gym, group exercise, aquatic and outdoor leisure facilities. You’ll lead and develop the Fitness Centre team while ensuring members, guests and visitors consistently receive a secure, welcoming and high-quality experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Supervise, motivate and develop the Fitness Centre team.
- Coordinate rosters, daily activities and facility maintenance.
- Maintain high standards across fitness, aquatic and outdoor leisure areas.
- Deliver exceptional service and respond effectively to member feedback.
- Monitor operational costs, invoicing, payments and end-of-day reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety,
industry and RACV requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve services, programs and operational efficiency.
- Ability to fill in for group classes and or PT’s
What you’ll bring
- Previous supervisory experience within the health and fitness industry.
- Certificate III and IV in Fitness.
- Current Advanced First Aid and CPR.
- Strong leadership, communication and operational management skills.
- A proactive, service-focused approach and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Flexibility to work across a seven-day operation, including Sundays and occasional on-call duties.
