About the Role

MPC Solutions is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Electrician for a valued gold mining client in Western Australia. Joining the maintenance team on a casual, temp-to-perm basis, you’ll help keep the processing plant running safely and reliably through preventative maintenance, electrical fault-finding and breakdown repairs.

This opportunity suits a hands-on electrician seeking a balanced roster and the potential to transition into permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and repair electrical systems across mills, crushers, conveyors, elution circuits and associated processing equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections and testing.
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors and control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Follow isolation, lockout and site safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and materials used.
- Work closely with operations and other trades to improve plant reliability.

What You’ll Bring

- A current WA Electrical Licence.
- Proven electrical maintenance experience in a fixed plant environment, with gold processing experience preferred.




- Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certification.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Confidence reading electrical drawings and schematics.
- A strong commitment to safety, hazard awareness and teamwork.
- Australian work rights.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening, and meet site police clearance requirements.

HV switching experience is highly regarded but not essential.
