Floral & Events Team Member

Adelaide, SA | Weddings, Florals & Events | Independent Contractor

Are you someone who loves flowers, weddings, beautiful spaces and bringing events to life?

EVEBUD is looking for a passionate, energetic and motivated person to join us on upcoming weddings and events. We’re less focused on finding someone with the right experience and more interested in finding the right person - someone who genuinely loves this industry and wants to learn, contribute and grow with us.

You don’t necessarily need years of professional floristry experience. What matters to us is your attitude, initiative, work ethic and willingness to learn.

About the opportunity

Working with EVEBUD means being involved in so much more than arranging flowers. Our work spans wedding florals, event installations, styling, drapery, preparation, packing, loading, venue set-up and pack-down.

No two events are exactly the same. Some days are spent surrounded by flowers in the studio; others involve early starts, loading vehicles and transforming a completely blank venue into something incredible.

It’s creative, physical, fast-paced and incredibly rewarding.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

- Are genuinely passionate about florals, weddings, styling and or events
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Naturally take initiative rather than always waiting to be asked
- Are fast-moving and efficient, particularly when working to event deadlines
- Love being organised and appreciate the importance of the little details
- Enjoy being part of a team and are happy to jump in wherever needed
- Are keen to learn and receptive to feedback
- Are physically capable of the inherent requirements of event work, including being on your feet, lifting/carrying substantial loads and assisting with installations
- Are reliable,

communicate well and understand the importance of commitments in the wedding industry
- Have an interest in all aspects of events, from florals through to drapery, styling and installation
- Want an opportunity where there is room to develop your skills and take on more responsibility over time

Experience: Previous floristry, events or styling experience is welcomed, but isn't essential.

For the right person, we’re happy to teach. What we can’t teach is enthusiasm, initiative and a outstanding work ethic.

This could suit someone wanting to build genuine hands-on experience in the wedding and events industry, or someone already working within the floral or creative space who is looking for additional opportunities.

Working with EVEBUD

EVEBUD is an established full-service wedding and event creative studio, specialising in chic and intentional floral design, styling, drapery, hire, candle styling and large-scale event installations, bringing every element together to create beautifully cohesive celebrations.

Our industry is fast paced, we value people who notice what needs doing, communicate, stay organised and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.

There is potential for the right person to grow with EVEBUD, develop their skills and take on greater responsibility as their experience and capabilities develop.

This opportunity is offered on a freelance/contractor basis.

Please apply through Indeed with your résumé and a short introduction telling us why the world of flowers, weddings and events interests you, what you think you could bring to EVEBUD, and what you're hoping to learn.

We’re looking for someone who wants to get involved, work hard, learn quickly and be part of creating some truly beautiful events.
