Our client located in Virginia QLD is seeking to hire experienced Food process workers/packers to be part of their growing team.
About the Role:
- Casual with view to go permanent
- Monday to Friday on-going roster
- Morning shift - 6am, 7am, 8am start time | $33.05/hr Super
- Afternoon shift - 1pm, 2pm | $38.01/hr Super
Must have and core responsibilities:
- Experience in a manufacturing food industry
- Steel capped boots will be required
- Understanding food hygiene, HACCP and quality requirements
- Knowledge of Workplace safety
Duties and Responsibilities
Food Process Worker:
- Transfer the 15 kg dough from the mixing bowl to the kneading table.
- Knead the dough until it's ready for the dough rolling machine.
- Pass the dough through the roller before placing it onto the conveyor belt
Packer:
- Pack pastry shell products efficiently and securely using appropriate materials.
- Organize and clean the packing area to ensure a safe and effective workspace.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet packing targets and deadlines.
- Report any damaged or defective items to supervisors for further action.
