Role

Join the Food Services team at Bayside Health Service and play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality meals and a positive service experience to patients, staff and visitors. Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of patient meal services, retail and other food service areas. You will:

- Prepare, assemble and distribute meals and beverages accurately and efficiently, following menus, recipes, work instructions and patient meal requirements.
- Provide friendly, respectful and caring service to patients, staff and visitors, including ensuring the correct meals are delivered to the correct patients.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness, while following allergen management, infection prevention and workplace safety requirements.
- Work flexibly across wards, kitchen, retail outlets and other Food Services areas, using equipment, technology and established processes to support effective daily operations.

About You We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused team member who takes pride in delivering quality food services and contributing to a positive patient experience. You have:

- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and safely undertake food preparation, meal assembly, cleaning, stock handling and basic record keeping.
- A strong customer and patient focus, with the ability to communicate respectfully, clearly and professionally with patients, staff and visitors.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment, manage time well and complete tasks consistently to a high standard.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to work across different Food Services areas and respond to changing service needs and operational priorities.
