We are looking for a reliable, hands-on, and qualified mechanic to join our team servicing, repairing and maintaining forklifts and other industrial machinery.
This role would suit an experienced mechanic or technician who enjoys practical work, takes pride in what they do, and can work independently.
About the Role
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Servicing, repairing and maintaining forklifts and related machinery
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Preparing forklifts and machinery for sale and hire
- Inspecting equipment to ensure it is safe and reliable
- Completing basic service reports, job cards and machine records
- Keeping track of parts used and repairs completed
- General workshop and machinery-related duties
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work
- Is reliable and responsible
- Has good mechanical and practical problem-solving skills
- Pays attention to detail
- Can work independently
- Is comfortable with basic paperwork and computer systems
- Has forklift experience — highly preferred
- Has experience with industrial machinery, plant or heavy equipment — an advantage
