About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of Australia’s leading retail brands based in Melbourne. They are seeking a sharp, adaptable Freelance Graphic Designer for a 1-month contract starting next week to assist their fast-paced marketing and design team.
This role is predominantly focused on print execution for high-volume retail campaigns, but requires functional skills in Figma to support digital collateral and digital marketing rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prep finished print artwork across retail touchpoints (POS materials, instore signage, promotional collateral, press, and catalogs).
- Utilize Figma to resize, update, and format digital assets (edms, web banners, social graphics).
- Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines and maintain high production standards.
- Perform pre-flight checks and deliver print-ready files to external suppliers.
- Work closely with the internal retail design team during the 2 on-site days per week.
What You’ll Need
- Strong background in print design within a retail, consumer goods, or agency workplace.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Practical, working knowledge of Figma for digital asset creation and tweaks.
- Experience delivering fast-turnaround POS, signage, or promotional materials.
- Availability for 2 days per week on-site in Melbourne (remainder remote).
- Ability to hit the ground running immediately starting next week.
