Left Field Carnegie is a busy neighbourhood cafe serving brunch, lunch and great coffee to a loyal local crowd. We're a tight-knit team that cares about warm, genuine service and a fun, welcoming floor.
The role
We're looking for a confident, friendly Front of House team member to join us part time. You'll be:
- Greeting and seating guests, taking orders and running food and drinks
- Carrying plates and coffees efficiently during busy service
- Working the POS and handling payments
- Keeping the floor clean, stocked and set up, and helping with open and close
- Working closely with the kitchen and barista to keep service smooth
What we're looking for
- At least 1 year of restaurant or cafe floor experience
- Availability 4-5 days a week, covering both morning and afternoon shifts (weekends essential)
- Clear, confident spoken English
- A friendly, positive attitude and calm under pressure
- Full working rights in Australia (Working Holiday visa holders must have at least 12 months remaining)
- Living locally or an easy commute to Carnegie
