Front of House Team Member – Full Time / Part Time

38 KATSU – Canberra Centre

38 KATSU is a Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Canberra Centre. Since opening, we have quickly grown into a busy, high-volume venue, and we are now looking for reliable and enthusiastic people to join our Front of House team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving restaurant environment, takes pride in good customer service, and understands that great hospitality comes from the whole team working together.

About the Role

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and help ensure our customers receive efficient and friendly service.

Your duties may include

- Welcoming customers and managing seating
- Taking orders and answering questions about our menu
- Delivering food and beverages to tables
- Clearing, cleaning and preparing tables for incoming guests
- Keeping the dining area and service stations clean and organised
- Replenishing stock and supplies throughout service
- Completing opening and closing procedures
- Assisting with dishes and general cleaning when necessary
- Helping other team members during busy service periods
- Supporting general restaurant operations as required

Although your main responsibilities will be Front of House, we operate as one team. Everyone is expected to step in and help where needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an advantage, but it is not essential. We are happy to train applicants who have the right attitude, reliability and willingness to work.
