Senior Full Stack Developer

Sydney

Contract 12 months

$600-800 a day inclusive of super

Full time (potential for contract)

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established financial services organisation in Sydney, building out a contemporary, cloud-native platform. This role is genuinely backend-heavy and centred on integration work, connecting systems, building and consuming APIs, and moving data reliably between platforms. The backend is built primarily in C#/.NET, running on AWS, with a solid amount of legacy React/TypeScript in production that continues to need support.

Key responsibilities:

- Design, build and maintain backend services and APIs primarily in C#/.NET
- Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third-party providers
- Work across AWS infrastructure
- Write and optimise SQL against relational databases
- Support existing React/TypeScript front-end code where required
- Collaborate with product owners,



designers and engineers within an agile squad
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to CI/CD practices

What we're looking for:

- Strong, hands-on commercial experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core
- Genuine experience building on AWS
- Confident, hands-on SQL experience, schema design, query writing and performance tuning
- Working knowledge of React and/or TypeScript
- Comfortable operating within an established framework rather than driving architecture, this is a hands-on delivery role, not an architecture-first position
- Financial services or another regulated industry background is a plus, not a requirement
