Full-Time Laundry Operator – Aged Care | Mornington iClean Facility Services is seeking a reliable and hardworking Full time Laundry Operator to join our team at an aged-care facility in Mornington.

This is a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, providing a stable daytime roster at the same location.

Roster

- Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
- 30-minute unpaid meal break each day

About the role You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility's internal laundry, helping ensure residents' clothing, linen and towels are processed safely, hygienically and efficiently.

Your duties will include

- Sorting and processing residents' personal clothing, bed linen and towels
- Operating washing and drying equipment
- Folding and preparing clean laundry for distribution
- Delivering residents' clean personal clothing to wardrobes as required
- Delivering clean bed linen and towels and restocking linen cupboards
- Maintaining appropriate separation between dirty and clean laundry
- Following infection-control and safe laundry-handling procedures
- Keeping the laundry area clean, hygienic, safe and organised
- Using laundry chemicals in accordance with site procedures
- Completing required laundry schedules and documentation
- Reporting equipment faults, hazards or supply shortages to your supervisor





About you We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and comfortable working in an aged-care environment.

You will need

- Availability to work the full Monday-to-Friday roster
- A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one before commencing
- Reliable transport to Mornington
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures
- Ability to undertake a physically active role involving standing, handling laundry and moving laundry trolleys
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to infection control, workplace safety and resident dignity

Previous experience in commercial laundry, aged care, healthcare, housekeeping or cleaning would be advantageous; however, training will be provided for the right person.
