Role:Business Analyst

Location:Sydney

Duration:Contract

Need functional BA with prior E2E experience.

Key responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements .
- Break down large, ambiguous problems into smaller, well-defined tasks or use cases.
- Create process flows, user stories, functional specifications , and other artifacts.
- Translate business needs into logical, structured, and actionable requirements .
- Work closely with developers, testers, and UX/UI teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to uncover root causes.
- Perform gap analysis , impact assessments, and data analysis as needed.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases and validating deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.





Required skills and qualifications :

- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Robust logical thinking and analytical skills — able to approach problems methodically.
- Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex ideas simply.
- Experience in writing clear, structured documentation (e.g., user stories, use cases, BRDs).
- Comfortable with process mapping tools (e.g., Griffy, Visio).
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have:

- Exposure to low-code platforms (e.g., Appian, Pega, Power Platform).
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools.
- Certifications like CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
