We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Casual Gardener to join our gardening team at Eatons Hill Hotel. This position offers the opportunity to work within an Award-Winning Venue, maintaining the grounds, gardens and surrounding areas.
What you'll be doing
- Performing general gardening duties such as mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, and mulching
- Caring for a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees to ensure their health and appearance
- Preparing and maintaining garden beds, including planting and transplanting
- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating with clients
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar landscaping role
- Knowledge of various plants, their care, and seasonal requirements
- Proficiency in the use of gardening tools and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform physical work
- A friendly, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
