South Pacific Resort & Spa Noosa is a 4.5-star resort set across five acres of beautiful landscaped tropical grounds. Our resort features four swimming pools, three spas, a tennis court, sauna and extensive gardens that we take great pride in maintaining.

We are seeking a motivated, reliable and passionate Gardening, Pool & Maintenance Team Member to join our small, dedicated team.

About the Role

This is a casual position with the potential of a permanent part-time position for the right applicant.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a high standard of presentation across a resort property.

The role will primarily involve pools maintenance, gardening and grounds maintenance, with opportunities to assist with general resort maintenance as required.

Work will be allocated on a roster basis with some weekend & public holiday work required. Penalty rates apply.

Key Responsibilities

- General gardening and grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, hedging, planting and garden care
- Maintaining the presentation of gardens, lawns, pathways and outdoor resort areas
- Safe operation, cleaning and basic maintenance of horticultural machinery and power tools
- General resort maintenance tasks as required
- Assisting with the upkeep of resort facilities and common areas
- Daily pool and spa maintenance
- Working as part of a small team to ensure the resort is maintained to a high standard




- Following workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment
- Assisting the housekeeping team as required

Skills & Experience The successful applicant will ideally have:

- At least 12 months' experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, horticulture or a similar role
- A genuine interest in gardening and working outdoors
- Sound knowledge of plants, gardening techniques and safe work practices
- Experience using horticultural machinery, power tools and other equipment
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- The ability to work well as part of a small team
- A friendly and positive personality with positive interpersonal skills
- A current manual driver's licence – essential
- General maintenance experience – advantageous
- Pool and spa experience – advantageous
- Previous resort or accommodation maintenance experience – advantageous
