Abaxa is looking for an experienced General Labourer to join our growing field team.
You’ll work across major infrastructure, utilities and construction projects, safely exposing underground services using non-destructive excavation techniques.

What You’ll Do
- Operate vacuum excavation trucks and equipment safely
- Pothole and expose underground services
- Work around live underground infrastructure
- Complete plant pre-starts, SWMS, JHAs and site documentation
- Maintain equipment and high standards of site housekeeping
- Work alongside Utility Locators, Survey Technicians and project teams
- Deliver a great experience for our customers
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card
- Experience working around underground services
- Strong safety mindset
- Reliable,
positive and team-focused attitude
Highly regarded:
- Vacuum excavation experience
- RIICCM303 Conduct Vacuum Excavations
- MR or HR Licence
- Civil construction or utility locating experience
- First Aid & CPR
- Traffic Management
- Water Corporation or Western Power inductions
