We’re representing a private equity-backed, founder-led specialty fashion business with an established and growing wholesale channel, supported by retail and ecommerce operations, and a sustained record of year on year growth. As the business enters its next phase of expansion, it is seeking a commercially astute General Manager Finance to strengthen financial insight, improve processes and help shape the next chapter of growth.

Working shoulder to shoulder with the Founder & CEO, this role combines commercial leadership with hands on execution. The General Manager Finance will be a strong communicator across the business, translating financial and operational information into clear actions while building the discipline, processes and analysis required to support continued growth.

The Opportunity

This is a broad, commercially embedded General Manager Finance role with end-to-end ownership of the finance function. It will suit someone who is highly autonomous, comfortable operating with a lean structure and willing to remain close to the detail in a rapid-moving, founder-led and private equity-backed environment.

Key areas of focus include:

- Driving financial strategy, commercial planning and performance visibility across the business, with clear communication to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Improving commercial analysis and decision support across pricing,



margin, profitability, cashflow and unit economics
- Optimising performance across the core wholesale channel, alongside retail and ecommerce operations
- Strengthening budgeting, forecasting and investment prioritisation to support disciplined year-on-year growth
- Partnering with operations to optimise supply chain, inventory, margin and working capital performance
- Improving finance processes, reporting, systems and data capability to deliver timely, practical insight across the business
- Partnering with leadership on expansion strategy across North America, Europe and Asia
- Delivering high-quality Board reporting and strategic insight
- Supporting investor engagement, governance and value creation initiatives alongside private equity stakeholders

About You

You are an experienced commercial finance leader from a product-led business, ideally with wholesale, retail or consumer products exposure. You combine strong financial discipline with the communication skills and commercial judgement to influence across the organisation, while taking direct responsibility for day-to-day finance operations.

You will likely bring

- Experience as a General Manager Finance,



Head of Finance or commercially focused finance leader in a growing business
- A CA or CPA qualification is mandatory
- Experience in a wholesale-led, product-based business, such as consumer products, retail, apparel or other inventory-led environments
- A track record of supporting year-on-year growth and scaling operations in a founder-led or entrepreneurial business
- Strong commercial acumen across wholesale, pricing, channel performance, margin and profitability, with the ability to improve analysis and decision-making
- Deep capability in cashflow management, inventory, working capital and supply chain optimisation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence across all areas of the business
- A pragmatic, collaborative and self-sufficient leadership style, with the ability to move fluidly between strategic thinking, commercial partnering and hands-on execution
- Experience engaging with Boards, investors and/or private equity stakeholders
