General Manager Operations (AusPac)

Location : Melbourne or Brisbane-based

Lead Operations Across Australia, New Zealand & Fiji An industry-leading provider of critical energy and infrastructure solutions is seeking an experienced General Manager Operations to lead a large, multi-disciplinary operations function across the Australia Pacific region.

This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence across multiple service centres, project sites and field operations, while building capability, improving performance and fostering a strong safety-first culture.

The Opportunity

Reporting as a key member of the regional leadership team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of operations, engineering, project delivery and resource management functions.

You will play a critical role in shaping operational strategy, improving business performance and ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of services to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a large, geographically dispersed operations team across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability and operational excellence.
- Oversee service centre operations, project delivery, engineering and field-based teams.
- Improve operational efficiency, asset utilisation and workforce productivity.
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and capital investment decisions.
- Ensure robust operational systems, processes and governance frameworks are in place.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety,



customer service and financial performance.
- Develop future leaders and strengthen organisational capability.

About You You are an accomplished operational leader with a proven track record leading large, multi-site operations within asset-intensive or industrial environments.

You will bring

- Significant senior leadership experience across complex operational environments.
- Experience leading large teams across multiple locations and disciplines.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including ownership of operational budgets and business performance.
- Demonstrated success driving safety, reliability and operational improvement.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- A cooperative approach with the ability to influence at executive level.
- Experience developing and coaching high-performing teams.
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
- Full and unrestricted AU working rights
