Endurance's Abra Mine is located approximately 220km north of Meekatharra, in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The underground mine represents one of the world's cleanest and largest lead-silver projects.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Grader Operator / Working Supervisor to join our NPI & Projects team at Abra Mine Site on a FIFO roster. Reporting to the NPI & Road Maintenance Supervisor, you will operate motor graders and associated plant to construct, maintain and rehabilitate our gazetted gravel roads, mine access roads and supporting drainage infrastructure — keeping our roads safe, serviceable and accessible for mine operations, contractors, emergency services and the community.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and delegate as required a small road maintenance team consisting of multiple operators to complete road maintenance and repairs works to gazzeted gravel roads, inclusive of Traffic management establishment, Roller, Prime Mover water cart ,side tipper and loader operators.
- Road condition reports as required reporting back to the NPI and Road Maintenance supervisors
- Operate motor graders to construct, repair and maintain gazetted gravel roads, access roads, haul roads, intersections, flood ways and ancillary road infrastructure
- Establish and maintain required road geometry, including formation width, crossfall, camber and drainage profiles, and perform final trimming and shaping of road surfaces
- Monitor pavement performance and undertake reshaping, re-sheeting and gravel recovery activities
- Construct, maintain and rehabilitate table drains, catch drains, spoon drains and diversion drains to prevent road degradation and erosion
- Clean and maintain culvert crossings, flood ways and drainage structures, and undertake remedial works to manage erosion risks




- Maintain gazetted gravel roads to support protected access for community members, contractors, emergency services and mine personnel
- Conduct pre-start and shutdown inspections, and maintain grader cleanliness, operational readiness and accurate maintenance records
- Demonstrate safety leadership, complete risk assessments before commencing work, and report hazards, incidents and near misses

What You'll Bring

- Minimum 3 years' experience operating graders within mining, civil construction or local government road maintenance environments
- Demonstrated experience maintaining gravel roads and associated drainage infrastructure
- Experience in road construction, rehabilitation and pavement maintenance
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications and work instructions
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Effective planning, organisational and problem-solving capability
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Essential Requirements

- Current WA C Class Driver Licence
- Nationally Recognised Grader Operator Competency
- Ability to obtain and maintain site medical clearance
- National Police Clearance (where required)
- Ability to work outdoors in remote environments and adverse weather conditions
