KIVARI

Sydney

The art of coastal living.

Born in Australia. Belonging everywhere.

ABOUT US

KIVARI is an accessible designer brand with deep coastal roots, founded in Sydney in 2014. Every piece is designed by our team in Australia and crafted with sustainability in mind. With signature design handwriting, quality craft and considered details, we inspire women to feel confident and authentically themselves. Community comes first, quality always. It’s how we design, and it’s how we work - a warm environment where creativity thrives as we grow across the globe.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a Graphic Designer who wants to bring a brand’s story to life every day across social, email, web, print and retail. Social media is at the heart of this role: most of your week goes into Instagram stories, reels and paid social assets, so you design with a mobile lens first. Robust hands-on proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is essential for this role.

You’ve spent at least two years designing, ideally in fashion, and you understand how a new season launch comes together: the campaign eDM, the website layout, the retouched ghost imagery and the swing tag, all telling one story. You care about the small details, like a perfectly cropped product image or a colour that matches the garment.

You work well from a brief, but you don’t stop there. Each week you bring new ideas, test new formats on social and look at what’s lifting engagement and click-through. When our creative leaders share a vision, you can turn it into something forward-thinking that is still unmistakably KIVARI. You’re organised across several workstreams at once and calm with tight deadlines.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

- Social media assets - designing Instagram stories, reels and paid social advertising, with fresh concepts each week to improve engagement and click-through.
- Campaign and flow eDMs - creating weekly campaign emails and monthly flow eDMs, as briefed.

- Website design - building website layouts for new season launches and sales promotions, plus journal articles when required.
- Image retouching and colour correction - managing colour corrections and basic retouching for e-commerce and ghost imagery ahead of each monthly launch.
- Image preparation - resizing and cropping all imagery to website specifications so it presents consistently online.
- Video editing - editing campaign, studio and team showing videos for social and web, and creating content for KIVARI’s channels when needed.
- Creative concepts - turning the vision of the Creative Director and Head of Marketing into impactful, on-brand, mobile-first designs, delivered on time.
- Packaging and brand collateral - designing swing tags, labels, bags, boxes, love notes, gift cards and tissue, as well as presentation templates and email signatures.
- Retail and event assets - creating in-store signage, window assets, event designs and seasonal invitations.
- Cross-team collaboration - working closely with the Marketing, Digital and Design teams and reporting to our Creative Manager, so every design meets the brief and lands on time.
- Design administration - keeping files, briefs and design admin up to date in line with business requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

- Essential: proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- 2+ years’ experience as a Graphic Designer.
- Graphic design experience in the fashion industry.
- A solid grasp of design fundamentals, including layout, typography, colour and hierarchy.
- A mobile-first eye, with a portfolio showing strong social media and digital work.

- Experience with colour correction and basic retouching of product imagery.
- The ability to juggle several workstreams and hit tight deadlines without losing quality.
- Confidence working within brand and creative guidelines while bringing new ideas.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong written language and grammar skills.
- Clear communication and the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
- A willingness to learn and grow, with a positive and professional approach to change.
- Desirable: motion and video skills in Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
- Desirable: a Certificate IV or higher qualification in Graphic Design.
