This is a significant opportunity for an experienced Group CIO to join a leading education provider entering an incredibly exciting stage of growth and expansion. With ambitious plans for the next 6 -12 months and beyond, the organisation is looking for a Group CIO who can take its technology capability to the next level.

Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the technology direction of this growing education provider. We are looking for someone who can see where the organisation is heading, understands what needs to change and build the technology strategy and capability to support that growth. You will be a key strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team across technology, cybersecurity, digital capability, AI, enterprise architecture and information governance, ensuring the organisation is ready for its next stage of growth The Opportunity:

The role can be based in Perth, Sydney or Melbourne. Here you will lead a team of 13 which is expected to grow as the organisation expands, while setting the strategic direction and driving transformation across the Group.

Key areas of focus will include:

- Developing and executing the Group’s technology strategy and roadmap, aligned with its ambitious growth plans
- Leading enterprise-wide digital transformation, identifying opportunities to improve, automate, integrate and optimise the way the organisation operates
- Building scalable technology capability across systems, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and enterprise applications
- Driving the use of AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and enhance the staff and student experience
- Strengthening data, business intelligence and information governance to enable better organisation wide decision making
- Leading and developing a growing technology team,



ensuring the structure and capability can support the organisation’s future scale
- Partnering with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board on technology investment, opportunities, risk and strategic priorities

About You:

We are looking for an established CIO, or a senior technology leader ready to take the next step. You will be comfortable working at pace, have experience leading significant transformation and change, and understand how to build technology capability that can support a rapidly growing education provider.

You will bring

- Experience within education, particularly across higher education, VET or a multicampus workplace (highly regarded)
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to turn strategy into delivery and measurable outcomes
- A strong track record leading complex digital and technology transformation
- Experience building technology capability that can scale alongside organisational growth
- Strong knowledge across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data and governance
- Experience leading and developing high-performing multidisciplinary technology teams
- The ability to influence and provide strategic advice at CEO, Executive and Board level
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing technology investment, vendors and major transformation programs
