Employment Type: Multiple Part-Time positions available
Classification: SACS Level 2 ($34.58 to $37.73 per hour)
About The Role
Due to growth within our Wellness &
- Social Support program, we are seeking to appoint three passionate Group Supervisors to support our Social Support Groups and Centre-Based Respite services across multiple of our BHN sites.
We Currently Have The Following Permanent Part-time Opportunities Available
- 0.9 FTE based across Mentone &
- St Kilda
- 0.9 FTE based across Mentone &
- Bentleigh East
- 0.6 FTE based at Bentleigh East
In this rewarding role, you will coordinate and facilitate Social Support Group and Centre-Based Respite programs that help older people remain active, connected and engaged in their communities. Through meaningful activities, outings and social engagement opportunities, you will support clients, including those experiencing cognitive changes, to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Working closely with clients, carers, volunteers, support workers and the broader Wellness &
- Social Support team, you will foster welcoming and inclusive environments where people feel supported to participate and thrive. You will also play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality services that reflect individual needs and promote a person-centred approach to care.
What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and facilitate engaging group activities and outings.
- Promote client wellbeing, independence, and social connection.
- Provide support with personal care, meals, mobility,
and transport as required.
- Coordinate volunteers and support workers during group activities.
- Liaise with carers, families, and health professionals.
What You'll Bring
- Experience working within aged care, community health, or social support programs.
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, Leisure and Health, Fitness, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience facilitating group-based activities and programs.
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care and positive ageing.
- Current Victorian Driver License and willingness to drive an 11-seater bus (desirable).
