We're looking for a hands-on tax professional to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Corporate Finance & Shared Services Manager, you'll be responsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance across the Group while helping strengthen our tax governance framework as the business continues to grow.

About the Role

As the Group Tax Accountant, you'll be the key point of contact for tax matters across the Group. This is a hands-on role focused on compliance, reporting and business support, rather than people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Group income tax compliance and tax accounting.

- Oversee GST, FBT, PAYG, payroll tax and related obligations.

- Prepare and coordinate tax reporting and lodgements.

- Partner with external advisors to ensure compliance.

- Maintain and enhance the Group's tax governance framework.

- Support R&D; tax incentive claims and documentation.

- Provide tax advice and support business growth initiatives.

- Ensure accurate tax reconciliations and reporting.

You may be working in public practice or already in industry.



What matters most is that you have strong accounting fundamentals, a solid understanding of tax, and enjoy taking ownership of your work.

You'll bring

- Solid accounting skills with a sound understanding of debits, credits and financial reporting.

- Experience with income tax and GST compliance.

- Experience preparing, reviewing and reconciling tax-related balances and reports.

- Exposure to multi-entity environments will be highly regarded.

- Experience with OneSource (Thomson Reuters) or similar tax systems is advantageous.

- Exposure to R&D; tax incentives will be highly regarded.

- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
