? Alegría is coming to Wollongong! We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef / Kitchen Lead to join us as we transform an established Wollongong venue into Alegría Latin Kitchen.

Alegría is all about Latin Kitchen | Mixology | Música — bold food, vibrant drinks and an energetic atmosphere.?

We’re looking for someone who wants to take ownership, lead a team and help shape something special.

? THE ROLE

You’ll take the lead in our kitchen, overseeing:

- Kitchen service and daily operations
- Food preparation, quality and presentation
- Stock, ordering and food wastage
- Kitchen systems and prep
- Food safety and hygiene
- Training and leading the kitchen team
- Menu execution and development
- Creating a positive kitchen culture

? ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Experienced and confident leading a kitchen
- Organised, reliable and calm under pressure




- Passionate about food and hospitality
- Strong on quality, consistency and food safety
- A natural leader who enjoys developing others

Experienced Sous Chefs and Senior Chefs ready to step into a Head Chef / Kitchen Lead role are encouraged to apply.
