Are you an experienced compliance professional ready to take the next step into a Head of Compliance role?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing fintech and take responsibility for its Australian compliance function. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will work closely with a collaborative legal and compliance team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and maintaining the AML/CTF, AFSL , sanctions and financial crime compliance frameworks

- Undertaking monitoring, assurance, breach assessment and regulatory reporting
- Providing practical compliance advice across Product, Operations, Technology and Legal
- Supporting regulatory engagement with AUSTRAC and ASIC
- Managing a small team and helping strengthen compliance processes as the business grows




- Preparing clear and practical reporting for senior management and the Board

This role would suit a strong Compliance Manager, Senior Compliance Manager or regulatory risk professional who is ready to step into broader responsibility. You may already lead a small team or operate as a trusted second-in-command and now be looking for the opportunity to make the function your own.

This is not a purely strategic or oversight position. It will appeal to someone who enjoys being close to the work and wants to combine hands-on compliance delivery with the prospect to grow as a leader.
