The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Treasury is responsible for leading Lactalis Australia's treasury function, ensuring effective management of liquidity, funding, cash flow and financial risk across the organisation. You will develop and execute treasury strategies that support business growth, optimise capital structure and safeguard the financial stability of the business.

Working closely with executive leaders, banking partners and key stakeholders, you will provide strategic financial guidance while driving strong governance, compliance and operational excellence across the treasury function. You will also lead and develop a high-performing Treasury team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include





- Developing and executing treasury and funding strategies aligned to business objectives
- Managing liquidity, cash flow forecasting and working capital requirements
- Leading financial risk management activities, including foreign exchange, interest rate and liquidity risks
- Optimising capital structure and funding solutions
- Managing relationships with banks, financial institutions and external advisors
- Providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Driving treasury governance, compliance and risk management frameworks
- Leading treasury reporting, analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You are an experienced treasury professional with a strong background in corporate finance, liquidity management and financial risk management. You bring exceptional commercial acumen, executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex business environment.

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting,



Economics or a related discipline
- CPA, CFA, ACT or similar professional qualifications highly regarded
- 10+ years' experience in treasury, corporate finance or related financial leadership roles
- Strong experience in liquidity management, funding strategies and treasury operations
- Expertise in foreign exchange, interest rate and financial risk management
- Experience partnering with banks, financiers and senior business stakeholders
- Proven leadership experience developing high-performing teams
- Strong analytical, forecasting and financial modelling capabilities
- Excellent governance, compliance and stakeholder management skills
