About the Opportunities

We are currently partnering with a number of established and growing organisations across the Gold Coast and wider South East Queensland, with opportunities available across manufacturing, construction, civil and infrastructure projects. These roles offer a genuine blend of hands-on, boots-on-the-ground HSEQ work alongside auditing, compliance, risk management and continuous improvement. You’ll be working directly with operational teams, trades and frontline employees while also supporting the broader HSEQ systems and governance of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide practical, hands-on HSEQ support across manufacturing, construction, civil and infrastructure environments.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement and following through on corrective actions.
- Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ systems, procedures,



risk assessments and safe work documentation.
- Investigate incidents, hazards and near misses, identifying contributing factors and implementing appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- Coach and engage operational teams, supervisors and managers to build HSEQ awareness, ownership and accountability.
- Facilitate inductions, toolbox talks, safety meetings and HSEQ training.
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, standards and internal requirements.
- Build strong relationships across operational and leadership teams and positively influence safer ways of working.
- Support the implementation of new HSEQ processes and initiatives, helping teams understand the reasons behind change and gain buy-in.
- Prepare HSEQ reports and provide practical recommendations around risk, compliance and continuous improvement.

About You

- Cert IV or higher in Work Health & Safety.
- Previous experience in a dedicated HSEQ/HSE role within manufacturing, construction, civil, infrastructure, engineering or another high-risk environment.
- Strong understanding of HSEQ risk management, incident investigation, auditing and compliance.
- Comfortable balancing hands-on operational work with systems, documentation and assurance activities.




- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across frontline, operational and senior teams.
- Resilient and patient, with the ability to influence change and work through resistance within established environments.
- Practical and solutions-focused, with the confidence to challenge where required while maintaining positive working relationships.
- Experience in continuous improvement, change management or safety culture initiatives would be highly regarded.
