Our client is a financial services organisation.

The Role

This is a standalone Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager role with 1 direct report. The safety and wellbeing systems are already well established, so the focus is on running them well and keeping the organisation compliant rather than rebuilding from scratch. It's a true all-rounder: about 60% hands-on delivery and 40% planning, initiatives and senior reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing WorkCover claims and return-to-work cases end to end
- Conducting incident investigations, risk assessments and ergonomic assessments
- Supporting frontline teams with customer-facing and psychosocial risks
- Delivering the annual health, safety and wellbeing calendar
- Keeping procedures, documentation and safety reporting up to date
- Reporting to the Executive team and Board, and keeping leaders across their safety obligations
- Leading and developing a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator
- Occasional travel to branches in regional Victoria and interstate

Your Profile To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- 3-5 years of senior experience in a WHS or Health, Safety & Wellbeing role, ideally within a corporate or office-based workplace
- Strong WorkCover, injury management and return-to-work experience




- Experience managing psychosocial and customer-facing risks, and conducting incident investigations
- A genuinely hands-on approach, with the confidence to move between day-to-day case work and senior-level planning
- Knowledge of both VIC and NSW safety legislation (highly regarded)
- A polished, confident style when presenting to and advising senior leaders
- A personable, approachable manner, with the ability to build trust quickly across the business
- A current driver's licence
