Mantra Hobart Airport is seeking a friendly, professional and guest-focused Hotel Receptionist / Guest Service Agent (GSA) to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role
As a Hotel Receptionist / GSA, you will be responsible for delivering a welcoming and efficient experience for our guests from arrival through to departure.
Your duties will include
- Providing friendly and professional front desk service
- Welcoming guests and assisting with check-in and check-out
- Managing guest enquiries, requests and reservations
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest accounts
- Answering telephone calls and responding to guest enquiries
- Providing information about the hotel and local area
- Handling guest requests and resolving issues professionally
- Maintaining accurate records and completing reception administration
- Working closely with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation at the front desk and guest areas
- Assisting with other hotel duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous hotel reception,
GSA or customer service experience
- Has a friendly, confident and professional manner
- Experience using Opera or another hotel property management system is an advantage, however full training will be provided.
- Enjoys working with people and delivering great guest experiences
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Has a flexible approach to working across a hotel operation
- Presents professionally and takes pride in their work
- Hold a current and valid Drivers Licence
Previous experience in a hotel environment will be highly regarded, however, we are also interested in applicants with strong customer service experience and the right attitude.
