Casual Hotel Receptionist/Guest Service Agent (GSA) – Thunderbird Motel Yass

Thunderbird Motel Yass is seeking a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Casual Receptionist to join our team.

Experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to the right person. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, friendly personality and genuine passion for providing great guest service.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, with the ability to assist across different areas of the hotel when required.

As our next team member, you will:

- Welcome and assist guests with enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Complete a variety of front office duties, including reservations, guest arrivals and departures, payments and maintaining guest accounts.
- Provide friendly and qualified service throughout the guest journey.
- Assist guests with local information and recommendations about Yass and the surrounding area.
- Respond to guest requests and enquiries in a helpful and professional manner.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation and service at the front desk.
- Multitask effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Work closely with the hotel team to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Assist in other areas of the hotel as required by the needs of the business.

What we are looking for:
- Previous reception,



hospitality or customer service experience is highly regarded.
- Experience using RMS or another hotel property management system is an advantage, however full training will be provided.
- A friendly, professional and welcoming personality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, well-presented and willing to get involved.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- A team player with a hands-on approach.
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy hotel environment.
- Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including mornings, afternoons, weekends and public holidays.
- A current RSA is desirable and may provide the opportunity to assist with Restaurant/F&B; shifts when required.
