- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure high cleanliness and service standards are met across
guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Allocate daily tasks through the hotel PMS system and ensure effective completion.
- Inspect guest rooms regularly to ensure quality, cleanliness, and maintenance, following hotel
standards.
- Monitor stock levels, equipment, and guest supplies to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Ensure housekeeping personnel are familiar with hotel facilities and provide guest assistance when
necessary.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Engineering, Laundry) to communicate room
status and report maintenance issues.
- Conduct regular safety and health training for staff, ensuring they understand hazards, safe procedures,
and emergency protocols.
- Oversee lost and found items, key control, and security procedures.
- Manage outside contractors to ensure compliance with service contracts.
- Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper on cleaning programs and staffing needs.
- Ensure adherence to all hotel and brand standards, including guest service, housekeeping policies, and
safety guidelines.
- Serve as the Executive Housekeeper in their absence and provide ongoing feedback and progress
