Your New Role
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will provide accurate, responsive and compliant administration across the employee life cycle. Working closely with an experienced HR team, you will support recruitment, onboarding, employee records, compliance, training administration, and day-to-day workforce enquiries.
This is a hands-on role based mainly within a busy operational environment. You will regularly assist employees with practical questions, including onboarding requirements, clearances and workplace systems. The position also shares general administration responsibilities, so you will need to enjoy working with people, respond well to interruptions, and communicate clearly with a diverse workforce.
- Coordinate recruitment administration, interviews, site visits and pre-employment activities.
- Support induction and onboarding, including checks, licences, clearances and mandatory learning.
- Maintain accurate employee records, compliance data and document control across HR systems.
- Monitor expiry dates, training completion and compliance requirements.
- Administer learning records, enrolments, skills matrices and completion reporting.
- Provide a helpful first point of contact for employee and manager enquiries.
- Support employee life cycle processes, HR projects, reporting and continuous improvement.
What You'll Need to Succeed
You will be organised, approachable and comfortable working in a role where priorities can shift throughout the day. You will bring strong administration skills, genuine patience and a practical desire to make processes easier for employees and the HR team.
- Experience in HR, People and Culture, recruitment administration or a strong general administration role.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks accurately.
- High attention to detail when managing employee data, documentation, and compliance records.
- Clear written and verbal communication with the confidence to support a diverse workforce.
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn HR, learning and compliance systems.
- A qualification in Human Resources or Business Administration will be well regarded but is not essential.
